Before she knew it, she had moved from the dentist’s chair to the head designer’s chair, taking her clients back to their roots. “What is important to them, what works and what doesn’t, how they see themselves in space, how it works when cooking and entertaining, what inspires them. I had to understand how they gave me the ration,” she says Orndorff. The result is a beautiful zonal her layout with two islands in a striking palette that combines her four cabinet finishes of walnut, cherry, white and navy her blue.

Interior designer Andrea Lynn Orndorf When she was at her dental office, she listened to how lost a good doctor and her husband were about starting a kitchen renovation. She quickly speculated that the couple jumped to the construction planning stage with a contractor before completing the full design stage. I was looking at a floor plan that I didn’t have and all of a sudden I had to make a lot of decisions very quickly,” says the designer. I told her that there was
