A pull-out trash can is a staple in the modern kitchen. Find the one that best fits your needs with Rev-A-Shelf.

How often do you think about trash bins? Hopefully the answer is never. At least not unless you need to take it out. However, if you are concerned about the location, size, or style, you may think about it every time you throw it away.

It’s time to do something about it, especially if you’re planning an IKEA kitchen renovation. There’s nothing quite like Rev-A-Shelf and IKEA for office organization.

You know that Rev-A-Shelf appreciates not only the quality of the company’s products, but also their product range. While he has two styles of IKEA trash cans, the Rev-A-Shelf offers dozens of styles in multiple sizes and finishes.

“IKEA has a plastic HALLBAR pull-out frame designed to fit one 6-gallon HALLBAR bin or two 3-gallon HALLBAR bins. We also have a recyclable SEKTION base cabinet that you can. While there are several different sizes available in this selection, IKEA doesn’t have as many options as the Rev-A-Shelf.We want to design the perfect organization for our clients. but it usually comes from the Rev-A-Shelf.” – Frank, IKD Designer

Rev-A-Shelf has a pull-out bin solution for all IKEA kitchens.

  1. extended family
As mentioned earlier, IKEA’s HALLBAR pull-out system can hold either one 6-gallon trash can or two 3-gallon trash cans. If you have a large family, you are lucky if a day’s worth of waste is included. The Rev-A-Shelf Wooden Bottom Mount Waste Container (4WCBM-2150DM-2) has two 12.5 gallon metallic silver waste containers. The 4WCBM series has combinations that fit 15″, 18″, 21″ and 24″ base cabinets, but this large waste container solution requires the use of the 24″ SEKTION base cabinet. All combinations in this series are mounted on Rev-A-Shelf soft close slides. The smaller option also has a small storage space for trash bags and cleaning supplies.Rev-a-Shelf Pull-Out Waste ContainerAlso consider a pull-out, top-mounted wood and silver waste container (4WCTM-15DM2-343-FL) that includes double-sized extra storage of 12.5 gallons. Top-mount pull waste container solutions are available in maple or walnut finish and are rated to 150 lbs.12.5g size trash can

“Florence designed our new kitchen and called for stash trash and recycling. I had a full trash can outside, piled up with 3. Most of the pull-out trash bins I’ve seen are small, so I was really excited about the 12-gallon Rev-A-Shelf system. We have two children and two dogs, so litter is basically created naturally in the house.” – Linda, IKD customer

  1. home cook
Some avid cooks and bakers prefer to keep the trash can outside the cabinet. Because I move kitchens often. Any Rev-A-Shelf pull-out waste container can be lifted out of its mount to meet this need, but it’s not always the easiest solution, especially when the trash is nearly full. But here comes the Rev-A-Shelf, a creative solution: Stainless Steel Counter Mount Waste Container (8-060-11SS). When designing a new kitchen, you can include this 11-liter or 13-liter trash can hole in your countertop template. It has a stainless steel lid, a removable container that fits in the cabinet below, and a rubber ring that seals in the odor.kitchen cabinet trash counterWhether you want to use this little beauty for trash or compost, cleanup after meal prep has never been easier.
  2. neat freak
One common concern when installing pull-out waste containers is confusion. It’s a trash can after all. There are spills, overflows, germs, and everything that makes a neat freak writhe. We recommend ditching the wood and using wire.Rev-A-Shelf’s Wire Undersink Pull-Out Waste Container (5SBWC -815S-1) is compact and requires a 12” wide SEKTION cabinet. However, it holds up to 75 pounds of waste. This chrome wire is easy to clean and can be attached to the bottom of your cabinet. Alternatively, you can purchase a door mounting kit.Trash bin under the sinkSteel Bottom Mount Waste Container with Soft Close (53WC-1550SCDM) is available in various sizes and colors. This model mounts to cabinet doors and floors, so it includes all hardware and can hold up to 90 pounds of waste. Finishes include Champagne, Metallic Silver and Orion Gray. Keep it compact with one 8.75 gallon single trash can that fits in a 15 inch wide SEKTION cabinet, or choose a larger solution with the Double 50 qt. Container designed for 18 inch wide SEKTION cabinets.IKEA SEKTON cabinet trash canNo matter which solution you choose, you’ll find you get a sturdy, clean rollout waste container.

“My parents had a hidden trash can, but it didn’t come with rollers or anything like that. It was a small trash can under the sink that I pulled out when I needed it. So if you spilled a soda, it would stain, and if something fell, you wouldn’t notice it until it had been set aside for a while. One day, they found maggots.I might die.I was dead. I processed their design from IKD and asked for a better solution.Frank suggested a wire waste container under the sink.It didn’t get dirty and the trash can had a lid. It was probably the easiest decision of the entire renovation.” – Annabeth, IKD customer

  1. people who need help.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the Rev-A-Shelf’s Maple Bottom Mount Waste Pullout with Servo Drive (4WCSD-1535DM-1). Sized for most 24″ deep SEKTION bass cabinets. This electric pull-out waste container system is a great option for those who want the look and freedom of an under-mounted waste container but struggle to open and close cabinet doors. Just touch it to open it and the waste bin will come.

A pull-out trash can isn’t just for the kitchen!

Laundry rooms, mudrooms, and home offices are often designed with Rev-A-Shelf pull-out bins.

  • The 5 Gallon Universal Waste Drawer (RUKD-1432RB-1) fits under your vanity or in a small base cabinet. It comes in multiple sizes and has a chrome finish. #8
  • White Aluminum Vanity Trash Can with Rev-A-Motion (5149-15DM18-111) mounts to the cabinet door and comes with a white or metallic silver trash can. #9
  • A waste container (8-010314-15) under the carousel lifts the lid when the cabinet door is opened.

important point

Choose from hundreds of Rev-A-Shelf pull-out waste containers. This leaves his two options at IKEA out of the park. Every home and family is different. An IKD designer will walk you through the options and help you choose the best pull-out trash can for your lifestyle.
