
Originally built as a tailor called Smith and Hobbs, it employed several seamstresses working on old Singer sewing machines, producing high quality suits and tweeds, mainly for hunting and racing. A Grade II listed building, the property was completely restored to its present form in 2103 by a very cool Gloucestershire-based salvage and vintage company. original houseIn line with regulations, the exterior had to look as close to the original as possible, so we hired a professional to strip and replace the old exterior. With a new immaculate coat of corrugated iron, the building has a clear connection to its manufacturing past. Intended for both entertainment and guest house use, the newly created space has been designed to feel wonderfully cool and contemporary, creating a true contrast between the outside and the inside. .
