Have a good Sunday and Memorial Day weekend everyone! Have a good time. Have you guys seen what the farmhouse backyard looks like?? I think we are all ready to start eating out full time after seeing these beautiful photos. And since this is holiday week for most of our American readers, let’s spend another day relaxing here. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Of course, enjoy these links too 🙂
House tour of the week It’s a hotel! But it’s more than just a hotel, it was designed by amazing people. Dorothee Meirikzon with experimental group (check out Check out their other collaborations here). Montesol Experimental is located in Ibiza and is designed to perfection. Interesting shapes (that headboard!), playful color palette, and wild textures make this hotel a new addition to our “must visit” list. check it out here!
From Emily: Found podcast series It was very attractive (you will soon be able to clean the house and do laundry). I listen to podcasts for him 12-18 hours a week (walking the dog and cleaning the house). This is one of his favorites in his two years here. This is a real crime, but not in a creepy “you can’t hear it while walking your dog at night” kind of way. It’s a story about a murder that happened 35 years ago and a very worst-case scenario situation where law enforcement could have put the wrong man in prison for over 35 years. Journalists have been covering this for over four years, and it’s really fascinating. It is brilliantly reported – “in my backyard, the very existence of the podcast changed history for everyone involved. It’s not depressing (well, not happy) but it’s more fascinating and how our justice system and individual law enforcement can actually change the course of so many people’s lives. It’s a cautionary tale about what can be done. bone valleyeveryone.
From Caitlin: I fell in love with this article about. secret mansion It’s right under the San Francisco Bay Bridge. There are also some pictures of the gorgeous interior that I never expected after seeing some wear and tear on the exterior. Honestly, despite the location, I wouldn’t mind living there (I mean, he already lives next to a 6-lane road, you know?). What do you say? ? ?
Also from Caitlyn: I’m reinvigorating myself with my dress picks every week (can you see how I’m trying to refresh my summer wardrobe staples?).i’m a big fan this midi dress With Swedish blue cabana stripe print! The skirt is pleated and light (perfect for twirling!) and I love how it fits over the top (it has adjustable straps so you can adjust the level of cleavage to your liking. ). It’s also a great basic and looks super cute dressed down with sneakers, but you can also dress it up a bit with sandals (plus the muted color scheme means you can wear it all year round. Pair it with a cropped sweater It would be so cute) It’s great when the weather gets cooler! ). It’s also 30% off right now. I’m really looking forward to it!!!
From Ryan: On our last day in Japan, literally hours before we boarded our flight home, we happened to visit the famous Parco Mall. this great brand I had a popup. Puebuco is a sustainable lifestyle brand that uses recycled materials to make travel accessories, bags, and household items. Everything they make has a very cool industrial feel to it and is eclectic and interesting.Do you get it 2 tote bags And I love it (and I think it’s surprisingly affordable for the quality!). Don’t walk, run!
From Mallory: With the warmer months approaching, it’s time to remind everyone (aka remind me) how important daily SPF is for your face. I really hate thick, sticky sunscreens (especially if I have to wear makeup over them). This Coola cucumber sunscreen life changed. So cool, so light, plus it smells incredible. The whole experience when wearing it feels incredibly luxurious. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
From Jess: Now it’s my turn to recommend a spring/summer dress 🙂 I tried it on this metersIdI dress We fell in love instantly last weekend. It’s easy to dress up and down, drape very nicely, and you don’t necessarily have to wear a bra (I’m about 36D). I think green is also very beautiful. I know I can take great advantage of it. Oh, and consider sizing up one size too.
From Arlene: I’ve been using moderately toxic, not super toxic, cleaning products for a while, but the last time I cleaned my daughter’s bathroom, the smell lingered in her room for days. . Even those “healthy” cleaners. So I scoured the internet to find a better one, and found Branch basics. If you can use the same detergent for your toilet as you do for your dishes and your hands, you may be in the right place (from a safety point of view). Basically, he mixes one concentrate in various ratios depending on the application required. And really, you only need a little bit of each. I bought my own glass spray bottles because they were so cost effective, followed site instructions for usage ratios, and made bathroom cleaners, all-purpose cleaners, glass cleaners, and hand soaps.i picked them up too oxygen boost So I scrubbed the shower and it worked great. I am a convert.
Also from Arlinn: My Avocado’s Beloved Mattress We are having a sale for our anniversary! It’s a brand that rarely goes on sale, so if you’ve been wondering about it, now’s your chance! We are offering up to 30% off sitewide (10% off mattresses). For a king size like mine, that saves about $260. Remember, we wrote all about why this mattress works for us in our bedroom reveal last month. This mattress is certified organic, made from natural materials like wool and latex, has medium firm support, and has worked wonders for my bad lower back. Doesn’t sleep hot like my old memory foam. In fact, it may be time for me to avocadoize myself. pillowthat too…
Thank you for a wonderful week. See you tomorrow. xx
