“I was inspired by how to combine the ideas of maximalism and minimalism. The architecture also has elements of minimalism.
The furniture for this project is a true collaboration with the client. Architectural influences and connections with the outdoors were also incorporated into the decoration. The lush greenery spilling out of the courtyard’s concrete form inspired a multi-layered, lush approach to interior decoration. Lush vegetation, which can be enjoyed from the main living area, creates a natural color palette of greens and golds.
A layered texture approach can be seen in the main bedroom. The raffia woven fabric, hints of gold and textured wall finish create its rich backdrop. I wanted to create a mood for each guest room, so I chose different wallpaper for each. Each of the three rooms has its own atmosphere, yet are linked by style and colour. ”
