OMG. Someone please invite me to join the Bartolivia team. Now I know a lot about mosquitoes. I know Barr’s trivia topics usually revolve around things like “culture” or “history” or “what people can reasonably expect to know”, but MAN. The intel of this mosquito is golden. Did you know they are attracted to the carbon dioxide and heat you give off? Or are you attracted to people drinking beer? Or do only female mosquitoes bite? Or are they so sensitive to garlic that one researcher ate so much Italian food that he didn’t get bitten by mosquitoes? (This is what actually happened in Duke’s biology lab.)
On that topic: Do you know what else mosquitoes hate? Everything on this list. Last month we put out a question for her EHD viewers – Does anyone recommend a mosquito trap that actually works? – And hey, it delivered! Today, we’re talking about some of our favorite effective mosquito bites, from Bistro Lights to prevent bites (who knew they existed?) to some beautification solutions that will turn your garden into a bug-free garden in the long run. Here are a few of the items we offer. zone. And if the problem he wants to throw $50 in and get fixed right away, there are recommendations for that too. 🙂

It’s Thermacell…in the sky. (Full disclosure: this was actually my favorite option.) If you’re going to light the exterior, why not no Why not choose lighting that makes you more comfortable? (And understand this: Repellent can be turned off when you don’t need it, so it works perfectly all year round.) Best mosquito repellent option for you!

i love these tea light Best of all, it’s very reasonably priced (cheaper than Amazon!), cream-colored (not bright yellow!), and has a perfect 4-hour burn time. I’ve found that these protect a fairly small radius (about 3 feet), but I’ve also found that they look very beautiful when scattered around a solid landscape in a patio or garden. A great way to create mosquito repellent without going over your budget.

Remember that little story about CO2 and heat? Fans keep the air circulating, reducing mosquito infestations. No need to splurge here. Box fans work just as well. – But if you’re ready to upgrade your outdoor oasis, our team is especially keen on it. Fans of Rejuvenation.
