alcediol designed its Ahmedabad office to feature large windows and skylights to create a bright and comfortable atmosphere for its employees.

Project Outline:

  • Design office: alcediol
  • Completion date: November 2022
  • Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
  • Size: 3,000 square feet
  • Population: 30

Design of alcediol The office is a fusion of functionality and aesthetic appeal. The space is designed to maximize employee productivity and comfort while creating a modern and engaging workplace.

One of the key design features is the use of natural light. Large windows and skylights are incorporated throughout the office, allowing plenty of daylight and providing a bright and comfortable atmosphere. The open floor plan offers ample workspace and comfortable seating areas to facilitate collaboration among team members.

The color palette is neutral, with shades of beige, grey, navy blue, and earth tones creating a calming, soothing environment. Bold color accents are used in the form of artwork and accessories, adding an interesting pop to the space. It adds sophistication and elegance.

Arcedior offices are equipped with cutting-edge technology to ensure employees have access to the tools they need to be productive. Every detail, from ergonomic chairs to soundproofed private offices, has been thought of to enhance comfort and efficiency. There is also a spacious break room with a fully equipped kitchen where employees can relax and recharge during breaks.

Overall, the Arcedior office design is a harmonious combination of form and function. It creates a comfortable, modern and efficient workspace that perfectly fits the needs of today’s fast-paced business environment. This design is a true testament to the team’s creativity and attention to detail.

project plan

Arcedior management played a key role in the planning and execution of the project, ensuring that the new workspace aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Employee input was highly valued throughout the design process, and the team incorporated several employee requests into the final design, including:

  • Meeting room whiteboard for team activities
  • Leisure use of commercial large screen TV
  • Women-only toilet available
  • Break room for lunch and team discussion
  • Use the conference room TV’s four-screen sharing feature for teams to work on projects together

Additionally, the design team incorporated unique design requirements based on special research to create an innovative workspace that showcases the company’s expertise and global reach. For example, the team brainstormed alternative ways to present the world map in the reception area, which led to using the company logo to showcase projects done in different countries.

These design decisions are aimed at creating comfortable and inviting workspaces that meet the needs and preferences of employees, resulting in a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Project details

The project incorporates several health and wellness initiatives and furnishings to ensure the space is comfortable and conducive to employee well-being. The use of HDHMR Green Ply plywood material contributes to a sustainable and eco-friendly workspace. Install indoor planters and aroma diffusers in various places to maintain air quality and maintain a stress-free work environment. The office pantry is equipped with healthy appliances.

All areas, including workstations and private cabins, have built-in speakers to provide a relaxing environment through music. A light profile with a narrow angle of 45° is used to prevent direct light from entering the eyes of people using the space.

The Arcedior space also includes various automated features based on KNX technology, such as lighting, curtains and doors, for added convenience and energy efficiency. Lighting features are dimmable and adjustable and designed to support the human circadian cycle. Using modular furniture makes the space comfortable and supports ergonomics. A comfortable chair and an adjustable work table with height adjustment further enhances the employee’s work experience.

One of the most unique features of this space is the maximum ceiling height of 11.5 feet and door height of 10 feet. This makes your workspace more grand and open, and your work environment never feels crowded or closed off. Smooth 18 mm profiles of partitions and doors with DGU double glazing add to the aesthetic appeal of the space. The laminates used in the interior are ultra-premium Luvih and Fenix laminates for a smooth touch and feel, scratch resistance and durability. The bookshelves and cabinets are crafted using crown cut ash oak stained open grain veneer giving the furniture a rich look.

The project also incorporates various branding elements, such as brand colors and logos, which are incorporated into workstation partitions and reception tables. The furniture and interiors have been chosen to match the brand’s theme of gold and blue. To reflect the corporate culture through the interior, the design team used murals as a medium. With the help of an artist, the team obtained a hand-made painting that illustrates the organization’s cultural charter and goals. Bespoke and customized carpets, area his rugs and storage cabinets to match the theme of the project.
