Shlomit Zeldman – Architecture & Interior Design incorporated eye-catching scenery when designing the offices of a family-owned private business in Ramat Gan, Israel. The new office is on her one of the top floors of an office building that was recently renovated and added seven more floors in the process. According to Zeldman, the plan started with an empty shell. Rectangular spaces that need to be “divided” vertically for the final space planning from the first steps on site. All hosting functions are planned in a spacious central foyer, while offices and meeting rooms are floor-to-ceiling black aluminum, thanks to his Zeldman plan to create his partitions of glass-framed, urban décor. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the skyline.
A marble floor was used for the central space to visually define the central space and the various functions within it. In contrast, all corridors and office spaces are fitted with oak parquet, adding a sense of intimacy that allows the space to be more defined without the use of partitions.Power wall created by Zeldman contributes to the uniformity of the multifunctional central space. It was covered in repurposed oak veneer for a clean yet warm look.
The veneer extends from the marble floor and continues sideways. Behind the central lobby he was fitted with two integral hidden doors. One leads to the bathroom with toilet and shower, the other to the employee’s kitchen. In the lobby, a coffee niche covered with natural granite has been created and illuminated by hidden light fixtures. A storage space was created above it and a wine cooler was designed into it as part of the niche. The system is placed opposite a leather sofa.
Known for their ability to strike the perfect balance between different materials and textures, the designers combined natural elements throughout this multi-attraction space, including wood, granite and leather. All the furnishings in this space were custom-crafted in monochrome hues that serve as the perfect backdrop for the exquisite display of works of art.
