Bristol’s harborside has opened the team’s second indoor adventure golf center at par 59, following the success of the Cardiff venue.
created by Studio Severnthe design itself boasts two custom-made mini golf courses, including a colorful amusement park-themed course with nine holes and a separate area for interactive social darts. The electrical system, fitouts and custom furniture were provided by Paramount.
Located on the Millennium Promenade, the Par 59 is named for the fact that only a handful of golfers have ever scored 59 points. Paramount has completed construction of its first venue in Cardiff in 2022.
Once you step inside, the bar experience is like no other. High-quality materials and finishes are used throughout to achieve a high-class look and feel. Think brass, marble, neon, rich greens, blues and pinks. There are several “Instagrammable” elements throughout the bar and restrooms.
Through our experience working on the first Par 59 project, our goal was to replicate the same premium quality and successfully manage the program in time for the client’s planned Christmas launch.
This project is all about partnerships. Given the limited timeframe, we had to be nimble to adapt and continue the program while carefully considering costs. Collaboration between the design team, clients, consultants and subcontractors was key to ensuring that risks were assessed and minimized as quickly as possible.
This is a true collaborative project that has progressed rapidly between us, the client, the team at Studio Severn and the entire supply chain, and we look forward to supporting Par 59’s continued growth both in the UK and abroad. I’m here.
