I can’t believe it’s been 5 years! In front of the deck was an old cracked concrete patio that we never wanted to use. Concrete was ugly, dangerous and decidedly unwelcome.
Finding a solution seemed like a daunting task until we realized that Trex Deck could be installed directly over the old concrete. What a game changer it was!

How do I start a deck project?
Building a deck might seem like a daunting project, but it doesn’t have to be.i used Lowes Help design and install a Trex deck. They made the whole process so simple and seamless. Even for DIY enthusiasts, There are many useful tools online.
The deck transformed our space in a short amount of time and it was amazing! I loved how quickly it was fun to use. Just adding plants and furniture was a lot of fun.

Another thing we loved about the deck was how its design integrated new and existing outdoor spaces.I was able to add the same Trex railing system I installed it on the existing concrete stair deck. As we walked up and down from the deck to the kitchen, the railing made the whole space feel comfortable, beautiful, and cohesive.
Railings also provided a sense of enclosure from the lawn and also defined the purpose of the deck. There was plenty of room on the deck to accommodate a large group as well as a cozy seating arrangement to enjoy your morning coffee. The railing made it feel like an outdoor room with openings on three sides leading to other garden areas. It’s fun to design a deck that enhances your garden enjoyment and enriches your family’s lifestyle.

durability Trex composite deck and handrail was a key selling point for us. After years of using our deck it continued to exceed our expectations and we’ve been fans forever. We live in the Northwest and in the winter our outdoor decks and railings can get sore. Maintenance becomes more difficult and time consuming with age.it is not trex composites! It was very easy to keep clean and didn’t need any repairs like warps, paint, chips or splinters (yay!). I don’t know about you, but I’d rather spend the summer planting flowers and having dinner with friends and family on the deck than continuing maintenance.
Our deck looked just as beautiful the day we sold the house and the day it was built. If you are considering trex deck, do not hold back! It’s the ideal time to start, so you can enjoy it all year long and for years to come.
