Evoke Projects was tasked with completing the installation and design of the Morrow Sodali office in Sydney, Australia. Morrow Sodali is a leading provider of strategic advice and shareholder services to corporate clients worldwide. Due to the overextension of the previous office space, Evoke engaged in the design and installation of the selected location at 68 Pitt Street, Sydney CBD.
The new office design defined a front-of-house client zone and provided a secure back office for staff. With abundant natural light and impressive views of the city skyline on all sides of the building, it was important to maximize the overall appearance of the building. The look and feel is professional and timeless, incorporating a neutral, monochrome color palette and rich woods that express elements of warmth and sophistication.
The waiting room is designed to have a view of the city outside upon entry. After the concierge greets you, the casual seating area and tee point are at your disposal upon arrival. Open and flexible spaces enable more casual meetings and events with fully integrated AV. Meeting rooms just off the entrance area offer a variety of spaces perfect for client meetings. Most of the design elements such as bold perforated black ceilings, tiled floors and exterior walls were used in the front area of the house as they are the most impactful and make the first impression upon entering.
The back staff area consisted of open-plan height-adjustable desks positioned towards surrounding windows to maximize natural light throughout the open office. Various private offices, small conference rooms and VC booths were incorporated into the design to provide quiet and private areas for staff to focus on work and have confidential discussions. The breakout area was designed as a flexible space that can be used for team collaboration or as a space for staff to take a break from their desks.
