I know a lot of people listen to the podcast The Great Indoors. Subscription model What I wanted to tell you today.
As regular listeners and readers know, Sophie Robinson and I started our podcast in October 2018. This was one of her first Interiors podcasts. For the most part, I think many thought it would be impossible to create a meaningful and useful show about such a visual subject in audio form.
After nearly 3 million downloads, I feel like I’ve proven the naysayers wrong. Now we want to make the podcast even bigger and better with more content, episodes and live events. It has approximately 10,500 members. You can meet each other and chat about all things interior to your heart’s content.
We have already changed the show from bi-weekly to weekly and are now launching a version for subscribers – Great Indoor Insider. This means you can listen ad-free as well as get exclusive access to bonus content. This may mean that your style surgery questions will be answered with priority or given the opportunity to hear an interview with an expert in the field (such as a kitchen designer or lighting expert). .Or, in the form of a newsletter, we might open up a little black book of designs and share details of where you can buy them with podcast insiders. Them Tomorrow we will reveal all vintage details related to Episode 110, which will be revealed in the morning.
Not only that, but if you host a live event, insiders are given the first dibs on tickets. Tomorrow (May 4th) we have some very exciting news for Insiders. Not only that, but the first newsletter on all things vintage
We are also planning some UK events later this year.
