Journey with Wellspan
The process of bringing the COCOCOZY x Welspun collection to life began in 2022. It was a great experience working with his CMO Christopher Mooney at Welspun and a talented design team that included Mary Bonanno, Isobel Modica, Parinaaz Karkaria, and all the amazing people in charge of management. Logistics like Katherine Fox. After signing the contract in 2022, we embarked on a journey of design exploration. I was tasked with finding inspiration for the collection. This partnership sought a modern perspective while staying consistent with the COCOCOZY brand. I grew up in Southern California, so naturally the beach, light, sun and palm trees influence my design aesthetic. Scrolling through my camera roll is full of nature, architecture, and my family. So I wanted to add something a little more comprehensive to this collection. Part of all my inspiration.

design process
Our first design meeting with the Wellspan team was enlightening as we delved into the intricacies of their textile business. I gained valuable insight and learned about the different stages of working with textiles.

Wellspan’s team developed and analyzed presentation decks and virtual mockups to explore different options for bedding, towels, and bath mats. Everything slowly came together into my ideal collection.
I sent the Welspan team dozens of copyrighted COCOCOZY textiles. It also contains sketches I drew myself. The team has handpicked their favorites that they believe are best suited for printing and engraving on bathroom accessories.
