The development, which aims to serve people over the age of 50 in the Bridgend area, broke ground in February 2023. His new 20 property development on the site of a former garage and bus depot on Old Station Road will consist of 17 properties. There are three bedroom and two-bedroom accommodations.
In recent weeks, construction has reached important milestones with the installation of a new crane on site and the installation of a new MetzSec frame system at the development site.
The 20 EPC ‘A’ apartments will be built using the panelized Metsek construction method and will be remarkably energy efficient. The homes will have built-in solar power and EV charging points and will be gas-free, helping Valley to Coast tackle its commitment to building future-proof homes.

Valleys to Coast has secured £2.8m funding from the Welsh Government social housing subsidy, with support from Bridgeend County Borough Council.
