ASD | Empty Designed offices for a classified technology company in San Francisco, California.
ASD|SKY’s design concept is based on the relationship between nature and the built environment, and is inspired by privately owned public open spaces (“POPOS”) in downtown San Francisco. Nestled within the austere urban landscape of San Francisco, POPOS is an unexpected, communal place of rest that encourages exploration and connection with nature. In Autodesk’s previous space designs, the architectural grid inherent in the building inspired the organization of the built spaces and corridors, as well as the spontaneity that interrupts and enriches the open office landscape. are punctuated by communal “parks” or neighborhood collaboration zones. , while providing a space that supports choice and change in work environments. The concept drives all design decisions to create flexible, functional, and collaborative spaces with the ‘wow factor’ of advanced design to attract new talent and retain existing talent. Reinforce the project goal of The design is brought to life through the use of natural elements, the vibrant color scheme that distinguishes each floor, and the spirit of San Francisco infused throughout. Each floor is linked by interconnecting staircases and tree-like wooden structures that span between and extend into each floor, denoting major common areas and circulation pathways.
