
The ground floor of this Victorian terrace was extended over time to create a series of seemingly purposeless, poorly lit rooms. Our task was to rearrange the layout to create a warm, hardworking family home where each room serves a purpose. By moving the entrance to this room and adding a staircase and a glass pocket door, we were able to create a cozy TV just right for the kids. surround the room. The drawing room is currently devoid of a TV and has mid-century upholstered furniture that the client already owns. It leads to a library that takes advantage of the featureless boulevard that is characteristic of most Victorian terraces. A burgundy staircase connects the library to the kitchen, which has a fun palette of lilacs and yellows. Lines of refreshing tidal colors add character to the walls, and various lighting options considered evoke different moods.
