I am very happy to share with you my latest treasure, the Rush Bench. Now, you may be wondering, “Liz, what is that?” Well, I stumbled across this hidden gem on Facebook Marketplace. And I want to tell you that it has added so much character to our home. As many of you already know, I take pure pleasure in seeking out unique upholstery and furniture from a variety of sources including Facebook marketplaces, antique shops and flea markets. I love the thrill of the hunt, the satisfaction of finding the perfect piece, and the magic of turning it into something fresh and beautiful for your home. And my recent adventure with the “Rush Bench” was no exception. The first time I saw this bench listed, I fell in love. I knew it was loved, a little tired, but definitely full of potential. I knew it would be a unique addition to our cozy home, and I found the perfect spot for it: the front living room.
A “rush bench” is traditionally used as a chair, but I had another idea in mind.
