One of the most common questions we get asked about our homes is, “What’s the name of this paint color?” I wanted to put together a comprehensive list of all the paint colors we have in our home to serve as a helpful guide for future reference.

Here are the paint colors for (almost) all of our homes. I delisted a few rooms that had been painted white before moving into the house (such as the guest bathroom and some rooms in the basement).

Here are all the bold paint colors (and some neutrals) room by room in our home.

front door

The entrance wall is painted in the same color. sherwin williams choice cream And the woodwork is painted in that color Farrow & Ball Setting PlasterThe entrance door is painted in the same color sherwin williams talipot palmI like the seemingly neutral color of the walls and woodwork. The pink color of the woodwork makes things interesting without showing your face. It’s like a little pink wink.

office

The paint color of the woodwork in the office is Bunglehouse Blue by Sherwin-WilliamsI like it because it’s a little brighter and deeper blue than navy. It is colored and grounded. It makes for a lovely room to work in every day!

family room

The walls, ceiling and woodwork in the family room are painted in this color Farrow & Ball Charish GreenThe wood is painted with a full gloss finish. This is a difficult color to work with and definitely not for everyone. This is only an issue on cloudy days and evenings.

dining room

The walls and woodwork in the dining room are painted White Batten from Sherwin-Williams’ HGTV Home. It looks like this exact color is no longer available. The chairs in the dining room are painted in that color Aleutian by Sherwin WilliamsThe colors in this room are bright and fresh, but not too dazzling or stark!

peach room

This paint color was in this room when we moved into the house. The closest we’ve found is Tangerine Burst from California Paints. I was never drawn to this color, but it has taught me to extend my instincts and use color as a tool rather than as something to put into personal taste.

kitchen

Kitchen cabinets are painted in color Sulking Room Pink by Farrow & Ball and The Hague Blue by Farrow & BallSulking Room is more mauve than true pink. Most of the time it appears as a putty gray due to north facing windows. Hague Blue is a nice inky navy that acts as a richly pigmented neutral in this space.

Master bedroom

The master bedroom wall and ceiling paint colors were custom matched to the existing woodwork.similar in color calc green by Farrow & Ball. A medium tone green with a good balance of warm and cool tones. It’s calming, but not too sweet or cerebral.

main bathroom

The paint color on the main bathroom ceiling is the same color as the adjacent bedroom. Calke Green by Farrow & BallThe paint colors on the walls and woodwork were here when we moved into the house. I really hate these colors in general, but we’re not used to updating them. Painted ceilings help!

Kids Bedroom (now August Room)

Children’s room woodwork paint color Afternoon from HGTV Home by Sherwin WilliamsThe bed frame is painted in the same color Growing green from your HGTV home by Sherwin-WilliamsI really wanted to play with colors that were unexpected and familiar, and a child’s room is the perfect place to do that.

kids bathroom

The paint color on the ceiling and woodwork in the kids’ bathroom is the same color as when we moved in. I found a wallpaper that matches this bright yellow space. The paint color is a nice shade that sits between lemon and butter, with a fair amount of white in it to make it feel clean and not too dingy or grey.

guest room

Drawing room bedroom (now Bennett’s room)

The woodwork that was the guest bedroom is painted in color Farrow & Ball Setting PlasterAfter applying the wallpaper, I really felt that the color of this woodwork should not feel sweet and girly. !

Basement Family Room

The trim, paneling and beams in the basement family room are painted in this color White Dove by Benjamin MooreThe walls and bricks are painted with colors Benjamin Moore CanvasThe plaster used in the fireplace was applied in a three-layer process. The first one is white plaster, the second one is a color close to canvas, and the third one is a color close to white dove, knocking back the texture. I love how these colors feel bright and white, but still have a hint of depth that makes woodwork and brick stand out.

basement kitchenette

I used leftover paint from the master bedroom to paint the shelves in the basement kitchenette.colors are similar Calke Green by Farrow & Ball.
