Technology company Miro hired an architecture and interior design firm. M Moser Associates To design a new office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
“The new Miro workplace design enables teams to grow, innovate and develop thriving communities. A big part of Miro’s expansion is how it helps companies innovate.M Moser Associates has created a space for testing and developing new ideas and technologies. All spaces in this workplace design are adaptable: Poufs and chairs are easily moved, and touch screens are available in all rooms. Yes, people can share new ideas.
Miro Amsterdam’s design showcases its business as a forward-thinking technology company with a fun and dynamic brand. The goal was to create a workplace where remote teams could come together in person. M Moser’s workplace strategy and design team designed the space with a range of hospitality-inspired amenities to inspire creativity and encourage people to move around the area.
Office design also supports new ways of working through environments focused on wellness and hospitality. The company has designed a variety of meeting spaces that encourage creativity, collaboration, and concentration. At the center of the Botanical Lounge is a lush planter. The bar area doubles as a workspace, where ‘miloneers’ gather over lunch and barista coffee. A campfire with comfortable chairs and a laptop table arranged in a circle provides an ideal place for brainstorming and allows for flexibility in meetings. Senior Associate Design Raquel Machado adds: ‘ Sustainability was a major driver throughout this project, with a focus on reducing waste and pioneering new design and construction methods. For example, M Moser & Cie. has kept existing space dividers and reused existing materials. When new materials were needed, the company chose sustainable options. ”
