We recently returned from vacation and what a wonderful treat. We used to be avid travelers, but the last few years (for obvious reasons) have fallen off. Having a baby during the pandemic has definitely changed our situation. Travel is no longer an option, it has become the norm for us.I didn’t realize how until I drove to the airport Desperately I was missing that buzzy pre-holiday feeling. This was my daughter’s first trip in addition to being the first trip we’ve been on in years so far – it only doubled the joy.
We stayed at the Hilton in Cancun and it was the best all-inclusive experience we’ve ever had so I feel I should share about it. I felt like I was staying in a nice hotel with A dream, really, isn’t it?

Note: I also started a travel toy store here. Full of things I actually used and really liked on this trip. We will keep you posted as we discover new things!
Everything is brand new, beautifully designed and always a pleasure. The best part is that it is absolutely kid friendly too. The kids pool/splash pad was a complete experience in itself. Cooking classes for kids, grand parks, indoor playgrounds, churros and ice cream bars…and we’ve got a happy little kid.

It was a kid-friendly all-inclusive luxury resort for adults and children alike. It was great to be able to relax, spend time with my family, and not have to worry about anything. To this day, Ivy asks when we’ll be back (and I and she).

As an added bonus, my love for travel has been completely rekindled once again.I really can’t wait to show my daughter all the beauty our world has to offer.
Take a peek into our journey here…
As an aside, I am planning a trip to Europe this fall. Just imagining traveling again is exciting. Take your toddler anywhere in the world (anywhere!) and if there’s anything you love about it, let us know.
