Ceiling system manufacturer Pro Clima recently hired interior design studio First Light to design its new office in Wellington, New Zealand.
“Pro Clima is known as a leading advocate of improved and healthier building practices and enjoys a high level of respect among design professionals and contractors. , it’s time to uphold those expectations and build a truly high-performing work environment.
The design of the new facility will foster collaboration and provide ample opportunities for Proclima staff to engage with the industry through shared work spaces. The open-plan layout encourages teamwork and features two private boardrooms or quiet spaces and a triple-glazed meeting room with timber cladding. Located between the entrance and quiet working areas, community spaces are designed to encourage interaction and flexibility, accommodating groups of varying sizes from 2 to up to 50 people.
The aesthetic of the house and the use of natural materials that evoke scale create the feeling of being an extension of the house. This attention to detail contributes to a cozy and comfortable working environment consistent with Pro Clima’s commitment to better building practices.
Overall, the design of the new Pro Clima Wellington headquarters demonstrates its commitment to high performance and sustainable building principles while providing a supportive and welcoming space for staff and industry professionals. ”
