Manufacturing Company Persun Textile Hires Interior Design Firm mimari studio to design a new office in Tekirdad, Turkey.
“The goal of the project was to create a living space suitable for the innovative, technological and colorful world of the company in a new working area, centrally located in the company’s new production facility. Flexibility, variability and transparency. Gender and experience were the main keywords that served as the starting point for spatial design.
The project aims to create co-working, developing, and living spaces by providing the physical and social conditions necessary for creativity and productivity while supporting communication and interaction among employees. was intended. The living spaces were designed for Persun employees to develop, socialize, share and be inspired.
The proposal prioritizes well-being, providing a safe space that provides opportunities for collaboration while allowing employees who spend long hours in closed spaces and rely on technology to be physically and mentally healthy and happy. Did. In this connection, all employees in the building work with maximum daylight, regular clean air, adequate thermal and acoustical comfort conditions, suitable lighting solutions and technical opportunities. A living space has been designed.
In addition to the interior design of the building, the facade design was also done by Mimari Studio. Considering the effects of the previous epidemic, the terrace floor, which allows access to the outdoors, was one of the striking details of the building. These living spaces establish a translucent connection between the indoors and outdoors. The interface also allows visual contact between users of the space and the outside world with different sized openings.
The landscaping work, referring to the “universe nature” step of the biophilic design approach, is another important feature of the façade. A natural landscape area created on the façade boundary allows control over the progression of greenery that eventually envelops this boundary over time. Selected plant cover provides an opportunity to see the changes in color, texture and structure in nature during the changing seasons. ”
